Our client is renowned for its critical role in the UKs energy transition, making a significant contribution to the green economy providing green jobs, reducing emissions and protecting our environment. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the strategic and financial direction of the business. Operating in a dynamic, PE backed environment, the CFO will provide financial and strategic leadership across the business. The role holder will drive EBITDA improvement and shareholder returns through the use of advanced financial modelling, multi-year forecasting, and clear, actionable management information. The successful candidate will proactively identify potential risks and drive cost optimisation initiatives across the wider business. The role holder will also have the following qualifications and experience: Experience as a standalone CFO or similar senior finance role in a CapEx intensive industry, within a company of comparable complexity having previously had full P&L ownership. Private Equity experience and/or experience working in a fast paced environment with significant growth, coupled with an intrinsic understanding of the key drivers and expectations of PE investors or of a fast paced, high growth business, underpinned by a proven track-record of driving demonstrable value creation. Experience being hands on in delivering transformational growth/change which has positively impacted performance, systems, processes and culture, coupled with experience of effective deployment of capital to improve business performance, having previously built high-performing teams. Experience effectively leading a finance team, evidenced by positive outcomes from key decisions and best-in-class key operational metrics. Experience presenting financial modelling and other strategic financial reports to board and shareholder.
