About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, exclusive company creating immersive experiences that blend music, theatre, and cinema. Most recently they have redefined the London scene, currently one of the hottest clubs in the city.

As they enter a landmark phase, including a major expansion into a new Central London site in 2026, they are seeking a commercially minded Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help drive growth, optimise operations, and scale the business to its next stage of success in the UK and internationally.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will serve as the primary architect of the company’s organisational infrastructure. You will be responsible for translating creative ambition into a sustainable, profitable, and safe global business model.

As the leader of the executive operational team, you will oversee both the Commercial Director and the Operations Director, ensuring that revenue engines and venue excellence work in perfect harmony. You are the integrator who ensures the brand’s value is protected while the physical heartbeat of the venues remains flawless.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy of the business, driving revenue growth across ticketing, partnerships, sponsorships, and new ventures
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient delivery of multiple high-end live events and productions
  • Develop and implement business plans and growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and expansion goals
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Finance Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Build financial frameworks and Standard Operating Procedures that allow a high-energy creative enterprise to scale without losing its soul
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including partners, investors, venues, and creative collaborators
  • Oversee high-level commercial negotiations and strategies, ensuring production and hospitality teams are equipped for excellence
  • Oversee, with the CEO, the company’s marketing strategy and brand management
  • Provide technology and data oversight, including ticketing systems, CRM, and analytics
  • Implement scalable systems and processes across production, logistics, and commercial functions
  • Oversee and optimise venue leasing, property hire, and site management
  • Lead the strategy for a complex freelance-heavy workforce, ensuring standardised onboarding and performance
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a growing team while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation
  • Ensure the organisation maintains a gold standard for licensing, fire safety, and crowd management

About You

  • Senior leadership experience within live events, entertainment, or experiential industries
  • Proven commercial track record with the ability to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Strong understanding of ticketed events, pricing strategies, and audience engagement
  • Skilled in strategic planning, operational oversight, and business scaling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in venue leasing, property management, or site operations is highly advantageous
  • Background in touring, festivals, or large-scale productions is beneficial though not essential
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach

Package

  • £125,000 – £150,000 salary depending on experience
  • Equity participation in the business
  • Opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth of one of the UK’s most exciting and innovative live experience brands
