About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team in Stroud as an Advanced Practitioner. This is a key role where you'll help shape exceptional services for children, adolescents, and families across Gloucestershire.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:
Create the best outcomes for children and adolescents with complex needs
Hold a protected caseload, focusing on high-quality and impactful work
Provide leadership around quality assurance, practice improvement, and performance support
Work closely with your team to embed strong, consistent practice
Support risk management and decision-making across complex cases

Working Style
We operate a hybrid working model, ensuring flexibility while maintaining high standards of practice:
Office-based for visits, duty work, and team collaboration
Home-based for administrative tasks
All children and adolescents are seen face to face unless COVID-confirmed
Expectation to be in the office more during the early stages to build team cohesion and stability
You will be equipped with a laptop and smartphone to support your work in all environments.
