Children's Residential Care Support Worker – Wales (Ad Hoc/Bank)

Job Type: Ad Hoc / Bank Location: Wales – covering Welshpool, Brecon, and Ystradgynlais

The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a Welsh local authority for experienced Support Workers to join their bank of staff across a number of children's residential care homes. This is a flexible, ad hoc role where you will be contacted each week based on your availability and booked into shifts accordingly – ideal for someone looking for flexible work whilst making a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people.

You will be supporting children with complex care needs across three locations in Wales, including those with learning difficulties and/or behavioural needs, ensuring they receive safe, consistent and nurturing care within their home environment.

Locations

Shifts are available across the following sites:

* Welshpool

* Brecon

* Ystradgynlais

About You

You will have:

* Previous experience in children's residential care

* A Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant background

* A current Social Care Wales registration (essential)

* A caring, patient and resilient approach to working with children with complex needs

* The ability to adapt quickly across different settings and teams
