supporting young people aged
8-17 years . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior or team leader ready to step up, or an existing Deputy Manager looking to grow within a supportive, child-centred environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home Lead shifts and manage the home in the Manager's absence Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times Ensure compliance with
Children's Homes Regulations (2015)
and Quality Standards Supervise, mentor, and develop staff performance Contribute to audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, schools, and professionals Support young people's emotional, social, and educational development Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment Requirements Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce (Essential) Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards) Experience in a children's residential setting Strong leadership and team management skills Sound knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations Ability to lead by example and create a positive culture What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate of
