Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to join a warm, welcoming 5-bed childrens home in Shrewsbury. The home supports up to 3 young people in a nurturing, family-style environment and has been rated GOOD in all areas by Ofsted. Recently refurbished and located close to the town centre, the service is known for its strong relationships, consistency, and positive outcomes for young people. About the Role As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the leadership team, helping to shape the culture and direction of the home. Youll work closely with the Registered Manager and wider regional team, contributing to a therapeutic model of care that prioritises meaningful relationships and reduced restraint. What Youll Be Doing Supporting the day-to-day running of the home Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated care team Ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding Contributing to care planning and positive outcomes for young people Managing rotas, budgets, and compliance with regulations Stepping up to manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager Whats in It for You?
