We are seeking compassionate, reliableand committed Residential Support Workers to join our growing team on a permanent basis, supporting vulnerable children and young people aged 617 in residential settings.

About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with their daily routines and overall development. You will help create a safe, structured, nurturing and positive home environment.
You will support young people who may present challenging behaviours and who may have additional needs such as Autism, ADHDand Global Developmental Disorder.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily routines, including cooking, cleaning, education support

Promote a safe, structuredand nurturing home environment

Manage and respond to challenging behaviours calmly and professionally

Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with young people

Set clear boundaries, expectationsand structured routines

Support mental and physical wellbeing through meaningful and engaging activities

Work collaboratively with social care professionals, healthcare providers, and families

Ensure safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing are prioritised at all times

Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Residential childcare

Family assessment work

Youth work

SEN support

Strong communication skills

Calm, resilientand patient approach

A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
