Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor — Position Overview You will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes, advising clients from initial instruction through to resolution. The role offers exposure to high‑quality contentious work, opportunities to support junior team members, and the chance to contribute to business development within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities of the Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Managing a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes Handling client work from initial instruction to resolution, including court proceedings and advocacy where appropriate Delivering clear, practical advice to clients in writing, over the phone and in meetings Building and maintaining strong client relationships Developing new business through marketing, networking and internal cross referrals Adhering to compliance policies, procedures and risk management requirements Supporting and mentoring junior team members Participating in CPD, webinars, podcasts and other marketing initiatives Representing the firm at charity, community and networking events

Requirements of the Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4+ PQE in Dispute Resolution Broad experience across civil and commercial disputes Commercial litigation and/or insolvency litigation knowledge desirable but not essential Confidence managing a busy and varied caseload Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self‑motivated and proactive approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong organisational skills, efficiency, reliability and flexibility Knowledge of Lexcel requirements desirable but not essential
