Are you a Civil Design Engineer looking to work on design-led projects alongside leading architects, rather than purely standard infrastructure schemes? An award-winning, design-focused civil & structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Design Engineer into its central London office. With a team of around 170 employees across multiple UK offices, the business offers the stability and resources of an established consultancy, while maintaining a collaborative and close-knit studio environment at office level.

You'll be joining a consultancy known for delivering innovative, elegant and practical engineering solutions, working closely with architects to bring complex designs to life. Projects are highly varied and include:

\n Residential and mixed-use developments \n

Cultural and heritage refurbishments \n

Commercial and education buildings \n

Public realm and urban regeneration schemes \n

Architecturally complex, design-led projects \n

\nThe Role\n

As a Civil Design Engineer, you'll contribute to the delivery of civil engineering elements across building-focused projects. Responsibilities will include:

\n Supporting the design of drainage, levels and external works\n \n

Contributing to SuDS strategies and surface water management\n \n

Assisting with site development and access design\n \n

Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D\n \n

Working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams \n

Supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and construction\n \n

Contributing to design discussions and helping develop practical solutions \n

\nWhat We're Looking For\n

\n Experience in civil engineering design, ideally within development or building-related projects \n

Background in drainage, external works or site development\n \n

Experience using AutoCAD / Civil 3D\n \n

Understanding of UK standards and approvals \n

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset \n

Interest in design-led engineering projects\n \n
