A Civil Engineer within a new infrastructure team based within the Manchester Office. This new permanent role, in a team of drainage, highways and development infrastructure specialists, will support the expanding client base of predominantly large residential developers.

Some specific requirements of this role will be to: Develop technical highway and drainage designs to support S104, S38 and S278 applications. Undertake a variety of technical assessments for new developments. Develop Levels Strategies and manage the production of Earthwork Appraisals. Manage projects with moderate supervision ensuring outputs are delivered on time and to an excellent standard. Produce Planning Documents such as Flood Risk Assessments/Drainage Technical Notes and Utilities Statements

Requirements A degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject. A minimum 3 years’ experience in UK development related infrastructure engineering. Demonstrate suitable knowledge of relevant design standards including DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, local road standards and relevant national planning policy.
