Turner Lovell is seeking experienced Civil Operatives to support the delivery of high-voltage substation construction projects. This is a hands-on role focused on civil and groundworks activities that are critical to the safe installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure. You will work as part of a site team delivering complex utility projects, operating plant machinery, installing drainage and foundations, and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards on site.

Key Responsibilities Civil & Groundworks Activities

Carry out earthworks, drainage installations, ducting and trough systems within substation environments Construct reinforced concrete (RC) foundations, bases, plinths and concrete footpaths Install security fencing and associated civil infrastructurePlant & Equipment Operation

Operate plant and machinery, including excavators, dumpers and rollers Support lifting and placing operations in line with site method statementsSpecialist Civil Works

Install temporary works for deep drainage systems Construct and install cess tanks, oil separators, pumping stations, manholes and catchpit chambersHealth, Safety & Compliance
