Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Civil Site Supervisor on a 3 month contract based in East Kent.

Role Summary

We are seeking a competent and proactive Civil Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all on-site civil engineering activities. The successful candidate will ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within quality standards, and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities including groundworks, drainage, concrete pours, formwork, reinstatement, and site set-up.

* Manage and lead site workforce, subcontractors, and day-to-day site operations.

* Ensure all works comply with project drawings, specifications, standards, and construction programmes.

* Enforce and promote health, safety, environmental and quality requirements; conduct toolbox talks and permit checks.

* Monitor progress and report daily to the Construction Manager/Project Lead.

* Inspect workmanship and materials; raise non-conformance reports and drive corrective actions.

* Liaise with project stakeholders, supply chain, and planning teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

* Coordinate deliveries, plant, and site logistics to maintain workflow efficiency.

* Maintain site records, timesheets, method statements, risk assessments, and testing/checklists.

* Support commissioning handover activities and ensure as-built documentation is accurate and complete.

* SSSTS

* HVDC / Substation experience ( Grid)
