Class 1 Casual DriverLocation: Hemel HempsteadShift: Zero hour contract, casualDo you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence?If 'YES,' we want to hear from you!Duties include:Trunking deliveries from Hemel to customer locations (e.g. Oxford, Southampton, Milton Keynes, etc.)Safe and compliant operation of HGV vehicles in line with DVSA and company standardsCompletion of daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and defect reportingCorrect coupling/uncoupling proceduresAdherence to driver hours, WTD and tachograph regulationsEnsuring timely and professional delivery serviceHours are ad-hoc and based on operational requirements, primarily covering Monday to Friday shifts with occasional weekend work depending on peak demand. Typical shifts start between 17:00 - 20:30 for trunking operations.Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability.
