Drivers Direct are currently recruiting for a client based at Newcastle. Class 1 day shift work general haulage. Ongoing / perm for the right candidate. Hours of work: 0700 start time onward . Monday to Friday Salary: £15.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence for a minimum of 6 months. Must have at least 60 days worth of driving showing on digital tacho card. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Apply
