Job Title: Class 1 Tanker Driver
Location: Rugby
Pay Rate: £19.00 to £22.56 p/h
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Experience: 12 months Class 1 essential
Assessment: Yes - required before start (full Tanker training provided)

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Rugby to work with our client, who manufactures and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates.

Employee Benefits:
Competitive Salary:  £19.00 to £22.56 p/h
Days 19.00 per hour (Holiday Pay: £2.29 per hour if paid on top (£21.29 total if requested))
Nights £20.13 per hour (Holiday Pay: £2.43 per hour if paid on top (£22.56 total if requested))

Weekly Pay: Payday every Friday

Class 1 Tanker Driver - Role & Responsibilities:

Operating HGV Class 1 Tanker (Tanker training provided if required)
Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness
Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly
Completing daily paperwork accurately
All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

Previous experience working with cement/aggregates would be beneficial.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
