Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Tramper Driver to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis, based in Tarleton (Preston PR4). This role involves overnight trunking work, delivering to Aldi stores, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out night trunking deliveries and collections
Deliver to Aldi stores with self-tip duties required
Ensure all loads are secured safely and transported efficiently
Complete relevant paperwork and comply with tachograph and driver hours regulations
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Maintain excellent communication with transport teams

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous tramping experience preferred
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday nights: £16.12 per hour
Saturday nights: £17.16 per hour
Sunday nights: £18.20 per hour
