We foster a strong culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers across the UK. In this position, you will: Take responsibility for collections and deliveries, operating a curtain-sided trailer with professionalism and care. Ensure every load is safely secured, using ratchet straps and carrying out some manual handling to maintain the highest safety standards. Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery documentation accurately and efficiently, keeping the process smooth and streamlined. Maintain regular communication with our transport team, providing updates on progress to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded. Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up to date with industry best practices and continuously enhancing your skills. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
