Job Description

Driver Hire Southampton is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 driver to join our client, a well-established company operating within the waste and recycling sector. This role offers a great opportunity to work with a reputable business that plays a key role in sustainable waste management.

About this role:

  • Permanent position
  • Monday to Friday- 6am start time
  • Working on various contracts around the South Coast area
  • You will be required to operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles including skip lorries, tankers, hook loaders and curtain siders.

What we require from you as a Class 2 driver:

  • Full and valid UK Class 2 driving licence
  • CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • 2 years Class 2 driving experience is required
  • Previous skip experience is essential
  • ADR licence is preferred
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Flexibility to adjust to different jobs and vehicles to meet customer requirements
