Role Overview
Bluestones Supply Chain is seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's team in Lanark. This role involves driving a Class 2 (rigid) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation: Safely drive a Class 2 vehicle in compliance with DVSA and company regulations. Deliveries: Perform multi-drop deliveries efficiently, adhering to scheduled times. Vehicle Checks: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy. Documentation: Complete relevant paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle inspection reports. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point. Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety and cleanliness at all times. Requirements
Licence: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence. Certifications: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card. Experience: Minimum 6 months of recent Class 2 driving experience preferred; new passes are accepted. Driving Record: No more than 6 penalty points on the licence (no DR, DD, IN endorsements). Knowledge: Good understanding of drivers hours and working time directive. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling tasks as required. Benefits
