Monday to Friday (varied start times available) About the Role Careermakers Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class2 Day Drivers on behalf of our client based in Preston . Due to continued growth and peak demand, we have both ongoing and ad-hoc day shifts available to suit a range of availability and working preferences. You will be responsible for nationwide deliveries and collections, with a focus on safety, compliance, and delivering excellent service. Key Responsibilities Carry out deliveries and collections across the UK during the day. Ensure loads are safely strapped and secure. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues. Maintain clear communication with the transport office. Accurately complete paperwork and represent the client professionally. Requirements Valid Class 2 licence with current CPC and Digi Tacho card . Minimum 6 Months Class 2 experience in the UK. Strong understanding of EU driver hours and regulations. No more than 6 points on your licence and no major endorsements (e.g. DR10, IN10, TT99). Good communication skills and a flexible, customer-focused approach.
