Job Title: Class 2 Driver Timber Deliveries (Holiday & Sickness Cover)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting reliable Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to provide holiday and sickness cover for an established timber delivery operation based in Halifax.

The role involves delivering timber products to customers across Yorkshire, with an average of around 10 drops per day. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible, ad-hoc work while supporting a well-organised team of professional drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Class 2 timber deliveries to sites and trade customers

• Approx. 10 drops per shift in and around Yorkshire

• Ensuring loads are delivered safely and securely

• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Licence must have been held for a minimum of 12 months

• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card

• Previous experience with timber or similar deliveries preferred

• Good knowledge of Yorkshire road networks

• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
