As a
Class 2 Driver , youll be completing local deliveries of metal using a flatbed vehicle and ensuring loads are secured safely using ratchet straps. You will also be provided with an
EPOD device
to track deliveries and communicate with the transport office. Completing
58 deliveries per shift
Delivering metal and steel materials to customers
Securing loads safely using
ratchet straps
Completing paperwork and PODs accurately
Carrying out vehicle safety checks
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude
Requirements of the Class 2 Driver
Valid
Category C (Class 2) Licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Previous multidrop or delivery experience
Experience securing loads with straps
essential
No more than 6 points on licence
Safety boots & hi-vis vest
