Class 2 Driver

Location: Coggeshall Pay: £16 per hour

Are you ready to hit the road and make some deliveries? We’re on the lookout for Class 2 Drivers to join a dynamic freight forwarding company. If you have a passion for driving and a knack for navigating the roads, we want to hear from you!

If you have worked for the likes of Veolia, Tesco and XPO or if you are looking to work for a similar company to start your career with then we have the position for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Making palletized deliveries with 5-6 drops and 2-5 collections (keep it moving!)

* Enjoying ongoing temp work with shifts starting around 6-7am, averaging a solid 10 hours on the road.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

* At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (no newbies please)

* A valid CPC Card (essential for those who want to drive like a pro)

* A Tacho Card (because we all love to keep things legal!)

* ADR certification is a bonus, but not a deal breaker (let’s not stress over it)

Key Responsibilities

1. Safe and Efficient Driving:

* Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, complying with all relevant legislation and company policies.

* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Transport Manager.

2. Load and Unload Goods:

* Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securement and adherence to weight ...
