Design and implement environments using infrastructure-as-code, automation and CI/CD, supporting platforms from prototype through to live operation.
Embed security, performance, resilience and operability as core design principles.
Promote DevOps practices, containerised platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), and continuous improvement through standardisation and automation.
Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for defence stakeholders.
Collaborate across disciplines, contribute to proposals and business development, and build strong client relationships.
Provide technical leadership, managing teams and deliverables, and maintaining clear architectural decisions and documentation

Strong consulting background with experience on client-facing engagements.
Ability to develop clear, pragmatic solutions to complex technical problems.
Experience leading teams and managing delivery.

Linux and Windows systems automation (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell).
Familiarity with application deployment, testing and source control tools.
Security & Operations
Understanding of security, resilience and performance considerations in cloud environments.
Experience contributing to operational cloud environments, not just design.
Knowledge of different deployment models (on-prem, public cloud, private cloud, hybrid).
