Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - AWS, Cloud & On-Premise
Fareham, near Portsmouth (Hybrid, 1 day a week onsite)We're working with a successful SaaS business with over 400 employees, 5000+ customers and a busy pipeline of work. They are looking to hire a AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve a hybrid infrastructure environment spanning cloud and on-premise systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across both AWS cloud environments and traditional infrastructure, with a strong focus on performance, security, and continuous improvement.
The Role:
You'll play a key role in managing and enhancing a hybrid infrastructure estate, supporting both internal systems and customer-facing platforms. Working closely with engineering teams, you'll help drive best practices across DevOps, automation, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments Optimise systems for performance, scalability, security, and cost Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and automation Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability Maintain clear documentation and continuously improve processesWhat We're Looking For:
