Responsibilities: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Your day-to-day activities will include deploying infrastructure and platform environments, creating proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. You are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Python (Programming Language) is required. Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and suggested proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure is recommended. Develop innovative cloud solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services. Conduct regular assessments of cloud architecture to identify areas for improvement. Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of learning and development. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement
