A rapidly growing managed services and cloud consultancy is looking to hire a Cloud Project Engineer to join its project delivery team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Cloud Project Engineer who enjoys delivering Microsoft-focused infrastructure and cloud projects for business clients. The successful Cloud Project Engineer will work closely with customers and internal consultants to design, plan, and implement modern cloud solutions.
The role combines technical delivery and project work, making it ideal for a Cloud Project Engineer who enjoys taking projects from initial design and planning through to implementation and handover into support.
The Role & What Were Looking For
Working as a Cloud Project Engineer delivering Microsoft infrastructure and cloud projects for business clients
Assisting with the design and planning of cloud and infrastructure solutions
Implementing projects from initial scope through to delivery and handover
Supporting migrations to Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Delivering technical implementations independently for smaller projects or alongside a wider delivery team for larger engagements
Working closely with engineers, consultants, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery
Producing clear technical documentation and project reporting
Previous experience working as a Cloud Project Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Technical Consultant delivering IT projects
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 migrations or cloud deployments
Exposure to Azure infrastructure or Microsoft cloud services
Strong communication and client-facing skills in a consultancy or managed services environment
Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications would be beneficial for this Cloud Project Engineer role.
