medical moulding company
that specialises in the manufacture of
high-precision components for regulated medical applications . Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced
CMM Engineer / Programmer
to strengthen their quality and inspection capability. The Role As a CMM Engineer / Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment to inspect high-precision moulded components, ensuring all products meet strict quality and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and optimise
CMM inspection routines Carry out
first article, in-process, and final inspections Interpret complex
engineering drawings and GD&T Ensure accurate measurement of
tight-tolerance components Support quality investigations and continuous improvement activities Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams Maintain measurement accuracy and documentation in line with
medical industry standards Key Requirements Proven experience as a
CMM Engineer / Programmer Strong understanding of
engineering drawings and GD&T Experience working with
high-precision components Background in
medical, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing
preferred PC-DMIS / Hexagon metrology experience
