Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Clay Cross. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality machining services, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and maintains the company’s reputation for precision and reliability.

Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC machines

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Carry out routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance

* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

* Adjust machine settings for different projects and materials

* Maintain accurate records of work carried out

* Troubleshoot machine issues to minimise downtime

Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role

* Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools

* Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills

* Experience with CNC programming software (preferred)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* High attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations

* Understanding of health and safety practices in manufacturing

Working Hours & Pay

* 37 hours per week across a 4-day working week

* Overtime available at time and a half

* Wage negotiable depending on experience
