Serving industries where reliability and precision are critical, they provide a complete in-house machining, inspection and finishing service, producing components to tight tolerances using a wide range of materials including challenging and exotic alloys.Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced CNC Machinists, Millers and Turners to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.The RoleThe successful individual will be expected to:Read and interpret engineering drawingsCreate, download, edit, archive, read and interpret CNC programsSet and operate CNC milling and/or turning machinesWork confidently with CNC control systems, including Fanuc and/or Hurco controlsInspect components and accurately record all relevant dimensionsComplete all required documentation and labour bookingsCarry out basic machine maintenanceThe Successful Candidate Will Have:Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate toolingStrong understanding of cutting and machining conditionsExperience using measuring equipmentFamiliarity with Fanuc and/or Hurco CNC control systemsThe ability to work well and engage effectively with other team membersSalary & HoursBasic Salary: Circa £45,000 £55,000 per annum (dependent upon shift pattern and experience)Hours: 39 hours per weekRotational Shifts:Days: Monday Thursday 06:00 14:35 & Friday 06:00 12:00Nights: Monday Wednesday 16:00 02:20 & Thursday 16:00 01:20Night shift premium paid at x1.5There are also opportunities available for permanent days or permanent nights.Benefits195 hours holiday (25 days plus bank holidays)Medicash Health Cash PlanHelp at Hand Employee Assistance ProgrammeLife Insurance (4x salary)Onsite parkingIf you are an experienced CNC professional looking for your next opportunity within a well-established and forward-thinking engineering environment, please get in touch with Contek Recruitment Solutions today.JBRP1_UKTJ
