Nature of Work: The Senior Technician (Machining) is responsible for preparing and proving out basic to complex programs and operating production runs within our high-tech machine shop, producing component parts for the aircraft interiors business.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately set up a wide range of Fanuc-controlled CNC milling and turning machinery to produce various component parts, from basic to complex, for low-batch, high-mix production runs. Create or edit basic CNC programs using G & M code instructions. Operate machines to produce parts in accordance with the daily production plan. Conduct self-inspection of repeat work using appropriate inspection equipment. Perform regular Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on machinery. Report production issues and defects to the Team Lead and production engineering team. Support the business in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency. Monitor and document operational performance and provide feedback to the Team Lead. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and support teams. Maintain quality standards by understanding and adhering to the quality management system. Comply with all company EH&S and compliance guidelines. Maintain a clean, organised working environment by adhering to housekeeping, 5S, and FOD rules, ensuring a best-in-class work space at all times. Required Knowledge, Skills...
