CNC Machinist

to join their

Milling Team

in Bradford. This is an opportunity to work with advanced CNC machinery, produce high-quality components, and progress within a well-established engineering business. CNC Miller The Role You'll set and operate a variety of

CNC milling machining centres

(both vertical and horizontal), producing precision-engineered components. Working with

Okuma, Cincinnati, and Haas

machines, you'll be responsible for ensuring dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality to exacting standards. CNC Miller Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC machining centres (horizontal twin pallet & vertical) Make up tooling and carry out program amendments as required Machine steel and cast components to fine tolerances - low volume, high variety work Monitor operations, interpret

CMM inspection data , and adjust as needed Perform precision measurement using micrometers, air gauges, and height gauges Log production data, SPC, and inspection results Support continuous improvement activities Maintain a clean, safe working area and carry out routine maintenance checks Operate manual machines (universal mill, manual drill, etc.) as needed CNC Miller About You ? Experienced in CNC Miller (vertical or horizontal) with confidence in program adjustments ? Skilled in interpreting

engineering drawings

and working to close geometric tolerances ? Familiar with

milling defects , CMM inspection, and SPC principles ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work ? Good standard of maths and English ? Physically dextrous, methodical, and safety-conscious ? Open to learning and adapting across different machines ?
