CNC Programmer - Milling

Overview

My client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer, Setter and Operator (Milling) to join their aerospace and precision machining production team. This role involves programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components in line with customer requirements and engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

* Program (online and offline), set and operate CNC milling machines

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting patterns

* Maximise material utilisation while minimising waste and scrap

* Ensure all components are handled, processed and identified correctly

* Maintain accurate production and stock control documentation

* Work in full compliance with quality, health and safety procedures

* Support the training and upskilling of other operatives when required

Key Requirements

* Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines

* Strong understanding of machining a range of metals

* Experience within an aerospace or precision machining environment

* Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* PC literate with strong attention to detail

* Quality-focused, reliable and safety-conscious approach
