Apply Now for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the CNC Turner include:Programming and Setting Lathes: effectively programme, set and operate CNC lathes to meet production deadlines and quality standardsMachining Exotic Materials: machine materials such as 625 and 718 using FANUC or Siemens control systemsReading Engineering Drawings: interpret complex engineering drawings and manufacture components to specificationModifying Existing Programs: set or amend existing programs where required to support productionQuality Inspection: use measuring equipment and basic CMM to complete checks and maintain accuracyTooling Improvements: implement minor tooling changes and suggest major improvements where appropriateProcess Improvement Support: identify and suggest process improvements to the engineering departmentTeam Support: assist and instruct colleagues when needed across the machining teamMachine Loading and Monitoring: load varying size components safely and competently and monitor long cycle timesCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSESSENTIALPrevious experience in a similar CNC turning or machining roleExperience with FANUC or Siemens control systemsAble to understand complex engineering drawingsAble to set or modify existing CNC programsConfident using measuring equipment and basic CMMAble to work alone and as part of a teamExcellent communication skills and reliable timekeepingWillingness to follow management direction and achieve resultsDESIRABLENVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalentEnthusiasm to learn and contribute ideas for process improvementsBENEFITSWeekly pay and Regular Overtime32 days paid annual leave (includes Bank Holidays) Monthly profit sharing bonus scheme (after qualifying period)Enhanced Company Pension SchemeLevel 1 Health Care SchemeUniform & PPE providedModern working environment with secure onsite parkingHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
