We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to work on large-scale components in a dynamic production environment.Key Responsibilities of a CNC Turner: Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision componentsMachining parts up to 10–12 metres in lengthWorking with Fanuc and Fagor control systemsReading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsSafely operating overhead cranes for handling large componentsMaintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety Requirements of a CNC Turner: Proven experience as a CNC TurnerStrong knowledge of Fanuc and/or Fagor controlsExperience machining large components (preferred)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamOverhead crane experience is essentialGood attention to detail and problem-solving skills Working Hours:Operating a 3 shift system (40 hours per week):Optional hours of the below: 06:00 – 14:3007:30 – 16:0014:00 – 22:00 Pay: Starting from £16.50 per hourHigher rates available depending on experience What We Offer: Stable, long-term employmentOpportunity to work on large and varied projectsCompetitive pay based on skill level If you are an experienced CNC Turner looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and professional environment, we would like to hear from you.DisclaimerAt Venatu Recruitment Group, your right to privacy is important to us.
