We arelooking for an experienced and motivated CNC Turner / Programmer to join our expanding precision engineering division in Rotherham.

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Haas / Hankook Lathes, supporting both prototype and production machining for our engineered valve and pipeline product range.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, well-equipped CNC facility, using the latest Fusion 360 CAM software and Haas / Hankook multi-axis equipment.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC TURNER PROGRAMMER:

• Responsible for programming, setting and operating Haas CNC machines(DS-30Y, ST-40, VTL1400)
• Be able to use Fanuc controls
• Ability to produce finished components to quality requirements.
• Can work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
• Health & Saftey adherence including Workspace Housekeeping.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS OF A CNC PROGRAMMER:

• Proven experience programming and setting CNC lathes (multi-axis)
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD models
• Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM software.
• Strong knowledge of Haas/Fanuc G- and M-code programming.
• Skilled in machining stainless steel, duplex, aluminium, and engineering plastics
• Confident in using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM)
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, safety-first approach.

THE HOURS:

You will work a day shift:

Mon Thurs: 8am 5pm

Fri: 8am 1pm
