We're looking for a relationship-focused Collections Officer to join a growing service-led organisation working closely with Local Authorities.
This isn't a traditional high-volume credit control role. Instead, you'll focus on understanding billing requirements, investigating delayed payments, and building strong working relationships to ensure smooth and timely income collection.

What You'll Be Doing: Managing and resolving outstanding payments from Local Authorities
Investigating invoice queries and identifying root causes of delays
Understanding funding and billing requirements across different authorities
Building strong internal and external relationships
Analysing aged debt and supporting process improvements
What We're Looking For: Experience working with Local Authorities (essential)
Background in a fee-based or contract-led service environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
Organised and proactive approach
