This is a high-impact role, supporting major programmes and international operations while helping shape commercial and financial strategy across the business. We’re looking for a candidate who combines strong commercial acumen with robust financial expertise, particularly in the context of large, complex contracts or deals—ideally within the defence, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors. You’ll play a key part in driving financial planning, commercial governance, and business performance, working closely with senior stakeholders across both the UK and international markets. Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial financial analysis and support strategic decision‑making on major deals and bids Partner with leadership teams to develop and implement commercial strategy and financial controls Provide insights into contract performance, risk, and value optimisation Support international growth and cross‑border commercial initiatives Ensure compliance with internal and external governance, including defence‑related standards

About You

Strong background in commercial finance or commercial management in complex, high‑value environments Experience working on major bids, contracts, or strategic partnerships Ideally from defence, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC level or above)
