Commercial Fire Sprinkler Estimator / Designer - South East

Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE | Hybrid Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Fire Sprinkler Estimator / Designer to join a well-established and growing fire protection business in the South East. This is a senior-level role with responsibility for managing and delivering accurate project estimates for commercial sprinkler installations.

The Role:

As a Senior Sprinkler System Estimator, you will be a key part of the team, working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are accurately costed and delivered efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing and understanding the technical requirements of commercial projects

Preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals tailored to each project

Measuring and quantifying sprinkler heads, pipework, and related components

Conducting site surveys as required

Assessing the cost and value of contracts

Sending enquiries to supply chain partners and preparing tender documentation

Producing presentations and submittals for clients

Mentoring junior team members and departmental trainees

Ensuring compliance with basic LPCB regulations and BSEN12845 standards

Managerial responsibilities available for candidates with relevant experience

Hybrid working with a requirement to attend the office at least 4 days per week (flexible discussion)

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Senior Sprinkler System Estimator, Sprinkler Installation Estimating Engineer, or similar role

Minimum 5 years' experience working on commercial sprinkler projects

Familiarity with BSEN12845 and LPCB standards

Previous experience within the construction industry, ideally with a working knowledge of MEP services

CAD proficiency is highly desirable

Strong project management, communication, and organisational skills
