This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to join an established construction company. While working on a variety of high-end residential projects, there will be a clear pathway for the right candidate to progress into directorship.

This well-established, family-run construction company operates across Dorset, specialising in high-quality residential projects. These range from extensions, loft and garage conversions, full refurbishments to complete new builds. With the team offering a complete service from design and groundworks through to final finishes they are able to cater to any client's needs. They are now looking to expand their dynamic and close-knit team with this great opportunity.

In this role, you will take on a number of responsibilities, working between the office, home, and sites. You will work directly with the Contracts Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. A major part of the role involves controlling the costs of projects throughout the entire process, which includes everything from forecasting to profit reporting. Additionally, you will be involved in the procurement of materials for projects and incorporating those costs into the overall financial control.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager who is personable and has strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and clients. A full UK driver's license is essential, as site visits will be required.
