Commercial Manager - NEC4 / Power & Energy Projects (Contract)
Location: South Wales & Southwest (Office + Site Travel) Rate: £600-£700 per day (Outside IR35) Job Type: Contract - 6 Months Hours: 40 hours per week Start Date: Early May

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to support the delivery of major power and energy infrastructure projects, working across a portfolio of transmission, distribution and renewable energy schemes.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of the commercial function across multiple projects, within a fast-paced environment delivering critical UK infrastructure.
The successful Commercial Manager will play a key role in commercial strategy, contract management and team leadership, working across high-value projects within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the commercial strategy and delivery across multiple infrastructure projects Managing NEC3 / NEC4 contracts, including complex contract structures Overseeing cost reporting, CVRs and commercial performance Supporting tender reviews, identifying risks and opportunities Managing commercial teams including Quantity Surveyors Collaborating with project and finance teams to optimise cashflow and forecasting Managing client relationships and resolving contractual issues Driving improvements in commercial performance and project delivery Supporting procurement and ensuring contractual complianceRequirements
To be considered for this Commercial Manager role, candidates should have:
Proven experience working as a Commercial Manager within infrastructure or energy projects Strong experience managing NEC3 / NEC4 contracts Experience working on power, utilities or major infrastructure projects Experience managing multiple projects and commercial teams Strong knowledge of contract law and project controls Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skillsEssential:
Degree qualified Full UK driving licence (site travel required)Contract Details
