JOB PURPOSE
The role of Commercial & Operations Director will take responsibility for delivering the business strategy that enables the branch network to be profitable and sustainable, and supporting the growth aspirations of the business. You will work with Regional Managers and Branch Managers to ensure safety standards, business procedures and internal control measures are adhered to, and where necessary improved.
KEY RESULT AREAS
* Support the branch network throughout the UK.
* Promote a strong teamwork ethos across the geographic business locations and within the Branch Leadership Team’s.
* Promote a strong safety culture in line with both business and legislative guidelines.
* Support delivery and improvement upon budgeted profit levels through continuous improvement of operation effectiveness through sharing best practice across the branches.
* Promote business compliance with all duties and procedures as described in the Code of Conduct.
* Strive to achieve customer satisfaction at all times.
* Maintain a high calibre of staff by coaching and mentoring both teams and individuals.
* Ensure that the quality of customer service within the business areas is appropriate and robust to sustain longer business growth.
* Lead stock management coordination and branch network, and drive transport efficiencies.
* Manage and coordinate inter branch resource transfers.
* Contribution to monthly financial reporting process to support accurate branch reporting.
* Support branch cash collection and debt resolution.
DIMENSIONS
* Line management report to VP - Europe.
* Development of multiple relationships across geographical areas.
* Operational objectives through strategies, objectives and implementation for continuous improvement.
* Through the management of Brand Access Solutions services, provide optimal opportunity for increased transaction and wider commercial growth with multiple customers
