What’s the job?
This is a field-based role covering the South East of England, managing and growing an established territory while opening doors to new business. You’ll be trusted to shape your patch, build long-term partnerships, and become a familiar, credible face with customers who value expertise and reliability.
You won’t be handed a script. You’ll be given autonomy, backing, and a product range that stands up to scrutiny.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll spend your time where it matters most: in front of customers, on site, and in the market.
You will -
Develop and grow strong, profitable relationships across merchants, buying groups and contractors
Proactively identify and convert new opportunities across a manufactured product range and off-site solutions
Raise the companys profile in the region through regular customer engagement and industry presence
Plan and manage customer visits that add value, not just tick boxes
Track upcoming projects and future workload to stay ahead of demand
Keep close to the market, understanding competitor activity and emerging trends
Use the CRM system to capture activity, opportunities and insights, ensuring nothing is missed
Manage site visits and customer requirements with confidence and professionalism
Who are you?
You’ll already be operating in a similar environment and will understand how this market works. Relationships matter. Credibility matters. Follow-through matters.
You’ll bring:
Strong communication skills and an easy confidence with people at all levels
A proven ability to plan your time, manage a territory and work independently
Sharp sales and negotiation skills, with a commercial mindset
Initiative, drive and the motivation to make things happen without constant supervision
Solid IT skills and confidence using CRM systems
A full UK driving licence and access to a car
A track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships
