An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commis Chef to join our small, dynamic team at The Edinburgh Larder in Morningside.
We are looking for a hard-working, energetic trainee chef who is passionate about fresh food and eager to learn in a fast-paced but supportive kitchen environment.
At The Edinburgh Larder, we work closely with local suppliers and use the finest Scottish produce to create modern, vibrant brunch and lunch dishes, alongside freshly prepared pastries. Quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation are at the heart of everything we do.
We are open seven days a week from 8:30am3:30pm, offering a genuine work-life balance with no late nights. Weekend availability is essential. Now entering our second year following a hugely successful first year, we are looking for the right candidate to grow with us as we expand our team.

Were looking for someone who:
Is reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Has some kitchen experience (preferred but not essential) Is keen to develop their skills and grow within the role Works well under pressure and as part of a team Is available to work weekends If youre ready to take the next step in your chef career and be part of a respected independent café, wed love to hear from you.
