Position: Commissioning Engineer - Water\n\nLocation: Severn Trent Water Region\n\nRate: £420.00 Per Day (Outside IR35)\n\nOur client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominately in the water industry, who are delivering a number of water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects for Severn Trent Water.\n\nThey are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of a major water and wastewater treatment projects through the region. You will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and the responsibilities will include:\n\nCarry out Commissioning Engineers R&R's and deliver schemes in a safe compliant manner.\nReview and monitoring of MEICA related Project risks\nAttend commissioning systems inductions and tool box talks\nLiaise with Design team to ensure plant commissioning requirements are incorporated at design stage and included in appropriate scope of works\nReview of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements\nReview and development of Compliance & Commissioning Plans in conjunction with design intent\nOversee and sign off FAT and SAT, and process witness tests\nAssist in development of initial Commissioning Programme\nAttend Progress & Commissioning Meetings\nCompile commissioning documentation and deliverables\nProvide input into Commissioning Strategy Reviews and Documentation\nLiaise with sub-contractors regards commissioning deliverables and interfaces\nAssist Training Coordinators in compilation of training deliverables and engage in SW Training sessions\nAssist O&M Coordinators in compilation and review of O&M Manuals\nDistribute Commissioning Log / Daily Diary's and any other information from Engineers\nAssist in the preparation of take over reports\nLiaise with complete scheme delivery team \n\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications:\n\nProven Electrical commissioning experience\nExtensive site experience of water & or water recycling operations\nPractical knowledge of water & or water recycling processes
