Community Care Senior Solicitor - 3+ PQE

A highly respected and boutique legal 200 firm is looking for an experienced (3+ PQE) Community Care Solicitor to join their excellent team. Based in Reading but offering fully remote working, the team works at on a wide variety of matters relating to social care, including securing funding or services for disabled persons, challenging NHS continuing healthcare funding decisions, securing direct payments, mental capacity matters, and court of protection cases.


Unlike some smaller firms, this client has a full-service offering and prides itself on it's good work/life balance, offering excellent progression and competitive renumeration. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to progress their career up to a senior level in an excellent team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a community care and adult social care caseload including care, mental capacity, and court of protection cases,
  • Assisting with the management of the team, including supervision on other junior legal professionals and support staff,
  • Working closely with team Partners for the development of the team and larger firm,
  • Developing relationships with clients and building long-lasting networks,


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • UK qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE or equivalent (other levels will be considered on a case-by-case basis),
  • Demonstrated track record of good quality casework from a reputable and recognised employer,
  • Ability to assist junior members of staff and supervise where necessary,
  • Technically strong in advising clients in a variety of relevant matters,
  • A team player with strong communication skills,
  • Self-motivated with an interest in self development.
