About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to support one female adult living with tetraplegia and complex health needs. This is a 2:1 care package, requiring attentive, person-centred support at all times.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone experienced in complex care who is confident working with clinical interventions and providing high-quality daily support within the person's own home.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care & Clinical Support:

* Assisting with dressing and undressing

* Full personal care support

* Suprapubic catheter care, including:

* Connecting/disconnecting night drainage

* Monitoring for blockages and reporting concerns

* Supporting with neurogenic bowel management, including:

* Digital rectal checks

* Administration of glycerine suppositories

* Blood pressure monitoring and ability to escalate concerns appropriately

* Supporting physiotherapy exercises

* Hoist transfers and safe repositioning

* Pressure area care and regular skin checks

Daily Living Support:

* Preparing food and drinks

* Administering medication in line with care plans

* Providing companionship and emotional support

Requirements

* Previous experience in complex care (essential)

* In-date DBS certificate

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

* Confident with clinical tasks and escalation procedures

* Ability to work effectively as part of a 2:1 care team

* Compassionate, reliable and professional approach

* Consistent hours (42 per week) - Split throughout the day between 7:00 - 22:30
