The setting is an SEN school who work with a mix of ages and are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP.The Role:Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit themWorking within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour and SEN requirementsFollowing care plans, EHCPs, Pupil Passports and other relevant documentsBeing comfortable with personal care is advantageousUsing a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists Supporting a differentiated national curriculum that is tailored to the needs of the pupilsWhat you will need:Experience of working with children who have complex needsA willingness to jump in and help where necessaryBeing competent in helping to prepare the pupils for becoming ready for adulthood through being a positive role model and influence The ability to support challenging behaviour, encourage independence and be patient and willing to build long lasting relationships with pupils What we offer:When you work with Qualiteach, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
