The team’s primary function is to protect the firm from exposure to money laundering, specifically through the client onboarding process by providing AML guidance, assessment, and advice.Responsibilities include:Completing KYC/CDD/EDD on prospective and existing clientsPerforming KYC refresh for clients with different risk profiles and sector backgroundsConducting risk or trigger-event reviews of clients and their activityIdentifying suspicious activity and escalating appropriatelyAssisting with ongoing screening/monitoring of client base (PEP, adverse media, sanctions)Supporting compliance training for new team membersWorking closely with the Onboarding Manager and MLRO to identify compliance issuesSuggesting improvements to processes where neededUsing compliance platforms such as BvD Catalyst, Salesforce, Creditsafe, Orbis, and EcoreSkills & Experience RequiredStrong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment for financial servicesAbility to absorb and apply regulatory material effectivelyConfident communicator with both front and back-office teamsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyWhat We OfferPrivate healthcare (covering employees and families from Day 1)Life-changing equity opportunities for high performersQuarterly team celebrationsSponsored learning and professional development25 days annual leave plus public holidaysEnhanced maternity and paternity policiesState-of-the-art gym with onsite personal trainerSend us an email or give us a call to discuss your recruitment needs
