Compliance Associate

Location: London (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Compliance Associate with a strong background in AML and KYC processes, along with broader experience across general compliance functions. This is a hands-on, generalist role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, supporting the business as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the company’s AML and KYC frameworks, ensuring policies, onboarding processes, and monitoring tools remain effective and compliant.
• Oversee compliance for regulated activities, particularly those related to financial products and financing.
• Act as the first point of contact for regulatory matters, including communications with regulators.
• Support the business with compliance training and ensure teams remain up to date with regulatory obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a compliance role within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations, KYC best practices, and the UK regs.
• Comfortable working across a broad range of compliance areas in a generalist role.
• Proactive and pragmatic, with experience supporting growth in scaling or startup environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
